and Everyone Else

It is very typical to have dark circles around the eyes. And there are countless causes that actually make this happen. A few of them are preventable, others are simply unpreventable, and are simply part of the mystery that is the human body.

The number one cause of having puffy eyes is actually water retention. Puffy under eyes form when there is too much water retention within the body.

If you eat a lot of high salt content foods, then this will actually cause your body to want to retain more water than it needs.

A surefire way to combat this is to counteract the high sodium intake, with an even greater water intake. What happens is that the body will begin to flush out the excessive sodium with the excessive water.

Another thing you could do, is just cut out as much salt from your diet as you possibly can. This means cutting out fast foods, and ready to go meals, as these are the ones with the higher salt content to preserve them longer.

For the reason that our cells have a natural inclination to stock water, getting under eye lines is a typical thing. I know, it is strange how our anatomies respond to things, but it just happens. The best measure we can take is decrease the quantity of salt that we take in per day, and remain hydrated with plenty of water. Just ponder how horrible your eyes and face will appear the next day the next time you are tempted to go through the drive-thru or take that microwave dinner.
